Welcome to Psych 461: Asian American Psychology!
This objective of this class is to examine present day representations of Asian Americans and the influence these representations have on the psychology of Asian American individuals and the community as a whole. Topics will include the model minority myth, stereotypes of unassimilation, gender and sexuality, relationships with other racial groups, and mental health.
