Welcome to the ANTH 457 web site. This site is designed to be a convenient source of information concerning the course. For example, you can locate copies of the lecture notes, class handouts, assignments, etc. For the most part, no necessary or required information will be posted exclusively on this site -- such information will also be made available in class. The main exception to this is lecture notes, which are only available here (and are to be read before each class session on a given topic). course info: Syllabus; bibliography of assigned reading; details on course requirements; contact information for instructor. lectures: Detailed lecture notes written by instructor (posted at least 24 hours before the class session on that topic). take-home assignments: Take-home assignments; scores (class averages, individual scores by student number); discussion of answers. updates: Selected questions received by email, with instructor's replies; various announcements and other material relevant to the course.
