This gives
some information about the second
mid-term exam, which will be on Friday, 10 December. It is a mid-term
exam, not a final, and so will not be specifically about matters predating
the first mid-term exam (except insofar as the second half of the course
built upon the first half). This is a
working link to the Lycett paper. The fifth
lab-test will appear today, 3 December, and will consists
of 13 flaked stone-artefacts that you should
identify and describe as usual. This will count for about 44 points. There is
also a drawing of an artefact to be identified and
described in detail (but don’t bother to measure it). The drawing will be
handed out in class today and I will try to put a link
to it here as well. For your edification,
I post a photograph of part of the Safsaf sandsheet. (You
should magnify it.) I have
uploaded a file of current
grades. You are sorted by the final four numbers of your Student ID, and
I leave you to work out the cryptic last two lines This is (I
