NOTICES:
- 2005-9-28 12:59: We have TAs (and there was much rejoicing)
- 2005-9-29 06:49: The other book I waved around in class was
Modern Applied Statistics
with S by Venables and Ripley. The fourth edition treats S-PLUS and R
symmetrically.
- 2005-9-29 09:17: I didn't mention in class, but I will be using R in this class. When assignments require you to submit actual
code, it will have to be R code. Otherwise you can use whatever software you like, but you
will get more effective help when you use R.
