The fate of identified EST's from zebrafish LG3 when mapped into the human genome.  No inversions are seen in this section.  The average piece of syntenic DNA is about 8 Mbp.  Paralogs in zebrafish provide some evidence for an ancient duplication, and fission in tetrapods.
