If you should get sick and have to miss class, you can still participate in doing the worksheets. They will be posted on the course website, under the "Practice Worksheets" link.

I don't plan to grade the worksheets, but want to know that you have worked on them. Sometimes we will go over them, or part of them, during class time; sometimes I will also post my solutions on the website.

You can get the participation credit if you do the worksheet and either bring it to class before we go over them, or send an image to me (before I post solutions). I prefer you to work on them in class so you can ask questions, but if you're sick, it's best you work at home.

If you miss turning in a worksheet or two, it will not significantly affect your grade. Of course, if you don't understand the material, that will affect your grade. Be sure if you don't understand something, anything, ask me, or ask at the Quantitative Skills Center.
