If you have any questions about grading or these solutions, please contact Kai by email at kjmiller@u.washington.edu or by phone 616-6957.

If you disagree with Kai about grading and are not able to resolve the issue with him, please feel free to contat Kerry either by email at kerrykim@u.washington.edu or by phone 616-6957.

General questions about grading policy or the homework should be directed to Kerry.

Here you will find the solutions to your homework assignments.

Don't forget:

  • Your reasoning in your homework solution is more important than your answer. You must SHOW YOUR WORK. Points will be deducted if you arrive at the correct answer with the wrong reasoning. Conversely, you may receive full credit for the wrong answer if your reasoning is correct
  • All homework sets are weighted equally in determining your final grade. Your lowest homework score will be dropped
  • Your grade in the class is based on your homework performance
