NO! The bone density did not improve, even though the femoral neck T-score was better by 15%!

I put this example in especially for those folks who think the T-score is all they need to know.

Notice the codes at the bottom of the bone density print-out. The reference population changed between the first and the second scan. Since the T-score depends on the reference range, it will change, too.

The g/cm2 is accurate, and this measurement shows that this patient's bone density had decreased by a slight amount.
