I'm still working on this page. We are writing a manuscript about our results here in Seattle; the abstract was presented at the American Society of Hematology last December. Our abstract These patients generally have normal bone density prior to an allogenic transplant. The bone density decreases during the first year after transplant. Fracture rates are increased compared to the general population, but not as severely as in solid organ transplant patients.
