79: -Zhang Zongchang obviuosly was an incompetent leader. Why do you think the people of Shandong didn't rise up against him sooner?
-Does it seem like any easy task to rise to power during this "warlord period"?
-Why do you think Zhang treated the people so harshly? Does it reflect his upbringing or just the greed of a ruler?
80: -What did you think about the methods used in the General Labor Strike? Did it seem successful?
-What differences do you see between Chinese and European Communism? What influence did foreign ideals have on China?
81: -The funeral processions were no doubt extravagant and Mr. Sheng's funeral was even described as a thrill of a lifetime. What do you think of using a funeral as a public display of a family's status?
