We want to welcome you to the Rainier College! Beautiful but imposing, Mt. Rainier is a fitting metaphor for medical training. Over the course of that training, you will face challenges and triumphs, highs and lows. We, your College faculty, are here to coach you and to encourage you as you face all of these. While one of us serves as your College mentor, we hope that you will look on all of the members of the Rainier faculty as additional sources of information and guidance. In addition to the faculty, your fellow Rainier students are also your comrades in pursuing this shared mission. We are committed to helping you all to become the most accomplished, proficient and caring physicians you can become – and to filling the trip with joy and laughter as much as possible.
