  • The Design, Chapter 5 from Web Design on a Shoestring - user com597, pswd digital
  • After these two readings, pick (at least) three web sites to review -- with designs that you like and that you don't like. Using the concepts presented in the readings, explain your judgment. Briefly note design elements that jump out at you -- color, layout, text styles, imagery -- and how these design elements enable the site to reach its goals. We'll discuss these in small groups next week. This will also help prepare you for the design workshop. [Feel free to revisit competitive web sites if you like.]
