SpCmu 102 is a 5-credit course designed to:

• introduce you to the study of human communication.
• introduce you to theories and models of human communication.
• examine human communication in a variety of contexts, including personal relationships, groups, public communication, and intercultural settings.
• provide you with skills to better identify communication problems in your life, analyze them, and respond to them in effective ways.

Prerequisites:

You MUST have a University of Washington e-mail account in order to participate in the class WebQ exercises and EPost discussions. If you do not currently have a University of Washington account, you must establish one before the first exercise and inform us of your address.
