Subject:                                     Adding .mp3's to XNACS1Lib projects

 

1. Add the audio file to the audio folder just like a .wav

2. In Visual Studio, right-click the audio file and select properties.

3. Under XNA Framework Content Pipeline, change Content Processor from "Song - XNA Framework" to "Sound Effect - XNA Framework"

 

Note I have not actually tested this when deployed to a physical WP7 phone or 360, however it does work in the Windows Phone 7 Emulator.
