Bacteria Identification Applet

The Bacteria Identification Applet is an expert system designed to help laboratory technicians narrow down candidate bacteria in a cell or tissue culture. It leads the user through an interactive process, asking questions and eliminating candidate bacteria that don't fit the characteristics specified.

The applet was written in Java with the JESS Expert System Shell acting as the brains. The GUI was created with AWT objects to maxmize browser compatability.
