    • An excellent online atlas developed by the University of Erlangen Dermatology Department (English version available)
  • DermAtlas
    • The Dermatlas is an international collaborative project that enables health care professionals,parents, and patients to access high quality dermatology images on the Web. The Dermatlas also includes an online Dermatology Quiz that allows trainees to test their diagnostic skills. The Dermatlas is compiled, reviewed, scored and updated by physicians of the Johns Hopkins University.

    • An image-rich teaching site excellent for medical students, primary care M.D.'s and beginning derm residents. An image-based overview of common dermatologic disorders.     • "This database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. VictorA. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere, and developed for the World Wide Web by NCBI, the National Center for Biotechnology Information. The database contains textual information, pictures, and reference information."

  • Botanical Dermatology Database
    • "BoDD is an electronic re-incarnation of BOTANICAL DERMATOLOGY by J Mitchell & A Rook, which was originally published in 1979 by Greengrass Ltd, Vancouver [ISBN 0-88978-047-1]." This website has an updated on-line version (Richard J. Schmidt PhD). Though not complete, it is an excellent resource.

    • This has been outstanding resource with links to online full-text versions of key articles on EBM including the CMAJ, JAMA and BMJ series. As of 3-1-2000 some of the full-text links appear to have been removed, however the majority remain valid.
  • British Medical Journal "How to Read a Paper" Series
    • Online full-text series of articles from the BMJ reviewing how to read a paper.

    • An excellent resource with multiple links to EBM sites developed at Case Western.
  • Bandolier Website
    • "Bandolier is produced monthly in Oxford for the NHS R&D directorate. It contains bullet points (hence Bandolier) of EBM."
  • University of Rochester CAT's
    • Critically appraised topics developed by the University of Rochester's Internal Medicine/Primary Care/Pediatrics Departments.
  • EBM Toolkit

    ACP Journal Club
    • ACP Journal Club is published bimonthly by the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine and includes EBM reviews of articles with commentary.
  • Evidence Based Medicine Journal
    • Articles are summarised in value-added abstracts and commented on by clinical experts. Evidence-Based Medicine, a co-publication of the BMJ Publishing Group and the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, is published bimonthly.
  • The Cochrane Library
    • "The Cochrane Library is an electronic publication designed to supply high quality evidence to inform people providing and receiving care, and those responsible for research, teaching, funding and administration at all levels. It is published quarterly on CD-ROM and the Internet, and is distributed on a subscription basis." The Abstracts of Cochrane Reviews are available without charge and can be browsed or searched on their website
