Online Case Discussions

Description

This page will provide you an opportunity to learn from online discussion about a case in dermatologic surgery. For each case problem, you will be able to link to a discussion site where you can provide input. This may be anonymous if you wish (using a pseudonym). Drs Berg and Iwamoto and other faculty will also contribute discussion to the case to help provide guidance and feedback.

Initially one new case will be submitted to this page per month. If interest is high, more frequent discussions will occur. Approximately once per month, the answers will be posted on the discussion site and a new case presented.

As of summer of 2001, new cases have been suspended due to difficulties with ease of use of software. New cases will be added once the software has been upgraded. I'm not sure when that is (D.B)

Instructions for Discussion

You may enter the discussion group by simply reviewing the case and accompanying question on this page and clicking to go to the discussion page. You may enter your comments as either a new comment or as a response to a previous comment by someone else. You will be able to easily follow the discussion thread to get improved feedback by both faculty and your peers. Anonymous input with pseudonyms is allowed to allow for free (but respectful!) discussion. Cases will be available online for about one month, after which they will be archived as new cases are added.

Any ideas for cases or input into the process is welcome. If you prefer anonymous feedback, there is an anonymous email site available.
