Tuesday, Thursday 10:30-11:30

Tom Reh phone 543-5069 tomreh@u.washington.edu

Rachel Wong phone 616-3275 wongr2@u.washington.edu

The format of the course will be as follows: the first class of the week (Tuesday) is a lecture/discussion led by the instructor and the second class of the week (Thursday) is a student led presentation/discussion of specific papers chosen by the instructor. The class will mostly be held in HHL322, the PBIO conference room in Harris Hydraulics.

The grade for the class will be based on a journal club style presentation of one or two papers selected by the lecturer for that week, and on a final paper (5 pages, plus references), done in the style of a grant proposal addressing a topic of the student's choosing in the area of developmental neurobiology. A sample proposal can be found here.
