workshops
There will be Photoshop 6.0 and DreamweaverMX workshops in February on Monday nights, 6.00 - 9.00, in room 304. Enrollment is open to all Digital Media Program students, with preference given to students who are enrolled in the Content Creation class this quarter. To register, send me e-mail.
This page provides overview information. The workshop tutorials are located on another site.
Introduction to Photoshop6
Monday, 2 February
- Fundamentals : Photoshop files, workspace
- Color: color modes, specifying colors
- Photos: resizing, cropping, simple fixes

- Simple buttons for web navigation
Suggested books
- Photoshop 7 WOW Book (or PS6 if that is the version you own)

Note: The lab in 304 has Photoshop6 installed, not Photoshop7. Thus we will not be using the more automated "save to web" feature of PS7 nor will we be exploring channels or advanced history features (unless Dan includes that in his advanced tips).
