Recommended alternative text (mostly for use as a future reference book):
Rosner BA, Fundamentals of Biostatistics, 6th ed., Duxbury, Pacific Grove, 2006.
Older (or newer) editions would also be fine
Copies of the fifth and sixth edition should be available at South Campus Center Bookstore. The fifth may be fine for your uses, and is very cheap. The 7th edition is the current edition, but it is quite expensive.
