ENERGY FUTURE
Energy Production, Consumption, Policy and the Environment
Academic Lecture Series and 1-2 Credit Course, Spring 2010
Thursdays, 12:30pm, Physics-Astro Auditorium PAA102 (PHYS428A SLN-19076)
Physics-Astronomy Auditorium PAA102
This webpage describes the academic lectures series and associated course which will accompany the 'Energy Future' public lecture series in the Spring term of 2010 at the University of Washington. For more information about the public lecture series, click here.
All members of the UW community and general public are welcome to attend the academic lecture series. The 1-2 credit seminar course is open to all matriculated and non-matriculated students at the UW. Grading will be based on course participation and a term paper. Students desiring to enroll for 2 credits will be expected to write a more detailed term paper, including significant consultation with the course instructor. See the course syllabus for further details.
The academic lecture series will have weekly presentations by UW and outside speakers on contemporary topics in energy research. The class will begin on April 1, 2010, at 12:30pm in Physics-Astro Auditorium PAA102. We expect to webcast many of the lectures, also -- details to follow.
