Lord Edward: Lord Edward Fitzgerald (b. 1763) and Wolfe Tone (b. 1763) were leaders of the rebellion of the United Irishmen in 1798. They were captured, and condemned, but died of wounds--in Tone's case, self-inflicted. Good Web sites:
