Pliers are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and are used for even greater variety of applications. For the purposes of this laboratory, only the needle nose pliers and the adjustable pliers are used. Pliers can be used to grip and hold virtually any object but should not be used to tighten or loosen threaded fasteners.
