Announcements:

12/07/11 :: Today's Lecture Slides:  I have posted the majority of the slides from today's lecture to the course website, however, I was not able to open the file that contained the last several slides in which Mr. Terada went through the activities which his response teams perform in responding to hazardous waste/substances problems. I have asked him to send them to me, and will add them to the present file whenever I receive them, so check back.

Also for those of you doing Exercise #1, the picture for today's lecture is appended to the end of the class lecture slides for today, since I was not able to display it on the screen for you this morning. Let me know if you have questions.

11/28/11 : : Poster Presentation & Paper:  It was pointed out that the syllabus incorrectly listed the due dates for the poster slide and presentations as December 5th and 6th, respectively.  The correct dates are Noon, Monday, December 12th for the PowerPoint "poster" to be submitted electronically to the EH 311 Drop Box on your catalyst tools; and Tuesday, December 13th for the paper.  The paper may be submitted electronically using the course drop box (preferred), or handed in as a hard copy in class.  In either case the dealine is 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13th.

11/07/11 :: Today's Lecture: One of the student pointed out that there was an error in one of the slides used in today's lecture. Slide 12 on page 4 had the NAAQS number for PM2.5 reversed.  It hase been corrected now.

10/26/11 ::  Missed Classes: For those of you that have missed a lecture or two due to sports events, illness, etc., the lectures this quarter are being recorded for the benefit of several students at the Salish-Kootenai College in Montana.  These lectures are available to you as well at:  https://mediasite.hs.washington.edu/Mediasite/LoginForm/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fMediasite%2fCatalog%2fpages%2fcatalog.aspx%3fcatalogId%3dafe5a7ef-fd83-4a55-84c7-6e2d36d265e3.  Only registered students in the class can access the site, and you will need your UW NetID to loginto the site.
