This course explores the ways in which environmental health problems are controlled in the United States. That is, we will examine both the policies and practices of Environmental Health as it is practiced in the real world.  The class will look at the ways that various government programs are established, organized and operated to prevent or control hazards in the community.  It also examines the legal and regulatory framework that has been established to prevent or control environmental health risks.
