Winter Quarter 2006 This course explicitly recognizes that environmental problems are cultural, economic, and political, as well as physical, in nature. In this context, the understanding of any environmental "problem" must involve examining the interaction among these factors. This course examines how these various factors have played out over the long course of human history, by paying particular attention to their impact on the health and well being of human populations. Meeting Times and Locations Lectures: Sections: AnnouncementsMarch 10: 1. The study guide for the final examination is available on this site. A number of corrections have been made in the the study guide so if you have an older version you should look at the version currently posted.. 2. The final examination is Thursday, March 16 at 8:30 AM! At that time you will need to turn in your peer evaluation forms. 3. There will be an optional study session on Wednesday, March 15 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in Room 258, Mary Gates Hall -- The PoE conference room. 4. The "peer evaluation form" has been sent to all students on the class roster. You need to fill in this form, rating the performance of everyone in your stakeholder group, including yourself, and bring it to the final exam on Thursday. It is critical to your grade that you complete this form. If you don't turn in the peer evaluation, you could end up with NO points for the project, and since the project represents about aq third of the grade, that could be disasterous.
