Overview |

This course focuses on male and female reproductive system
function,
female reproductive system conditions and diseases,
non-birth pregnancy outcomes, and the impact of pregnancy on later
health. Current epidemiologic knowledge is presented on topics
including the menstrual cycle,
male and female contraception, infertility, spontaneous and induced
abortion, and
uterine and ovarian disease. Methodologic issues related to the
design and conduct of reproductive epidemiologic studies are discussed
throughout the course. Instructor: Victoria Holt, PhD,

Quarter 2010 9:00 am – 10:20 am Room T663 Prerequisites: EPI 511 or EPI 512/513 or permission of instructor Credits: Three, graded.
Student assignments:
Write one-page papers on two discussion topics;
participate in class
discussions on those topics
Make
oral
presentation on topic of choice
Grading: Student class participation 30%
