Field Trip |

Logistics Depart: Tuesday, September 8th, 2009. Meet at 7:00 AM sharp in C-10 parking lot (behind Winkenwerder).
Return: Monday, September 21, 2009. We will return to the C-10 parking lot by 8:00 PM
Transportation: We will be traveling in University of Washington motor pool vehicles.
Health Issues This is a two week field trip, and we will be in the field the entire time. If you have any health issues, including allergy to bee stings, contact the teaching assistants prior to the class.
Food: You will be responsible for breakfasts and lunches. Please buy easy to prepare and store items as we will want to get a quick start in the mornings and most lunches will be eaten on the go. Approximately half of the dinners will be community cooking at the campsites, and approximately half of the dinners will be eating out at restaurants.
-We will have a chance to stop at grocery stores a couple of times throughout the week. -We will have coolers for items that need to be on ice.
Gear list -tent -sleeping bag -sleeping pad -flashlight -hiking boots -raingear (hat, jacket, pants) -sandals -warm clothes (it will be hot during the days but can get cold at night) -shorts -sunglasses -sunscreen -towel -spoon, fork, bowl, cup -notebook -medications -bee sting kit (if you are allergic to stinging beasts) -towel
Optional -guidebooks -camera (highly recommended)
Rules -no smoking in motor pool vehicles -absolutely no smoking in the forest at any time -no hard alcohol is permitted during this trip
