There are no official mid-term examinations
though there might be a quiz once in a while. There
will be a 2 hour (approx) final lab exam given on the last lab
day. The lab exam
is open book.
The lecture "final" will be in the form of a take home problem set that
will be handed out about the 8th week of class.
Field trips are at the mercy of
the weather. In the past few years we have sometimes been able to run a
field trip early in the quarter.
