Some Hints from those of us who know....

First of all, the packing list is essential, when packing things up, label and check things off. Organization is the key in packing. Never assume that something will be packed by someone else. Assign one person the duty of organizing the packing. Have them start 2 days prior. They'll need to find out what equipment/manuals people will need. They also need to acquire the proper packing supplies, such as computer boxes.
Once at your basecamp, get things set up quickly and know where everything you're going to need is. For those supplies that you don't have, start a list of things needed and note which supplies are running low.
If a flagging color scheme hasn't been designated, make sure one is developed and everyone follows it. When working on roads, we found it most efficient to keep the same group on the road from start to finish. At least have one person who knows the area and can explain what has already been done. Six different groups six different days, in the same area tends to make for a rainbow of flaglines, and no continuity in the road.
If you're organized, it goes faster.
