Prerequisites
Recommended: QSCI 381, FISH 497A and QSCI 456 or FISH 456 The laboratories and homework assignments require knowledge of EXCEL and Visual Basic. Students who are not familar with Visual Basic are strongly encouraged to take FISH 497A (Visual Basic Programming for Aquatic Sciences http://www.washington.edu/students/timeschd/WIN2004/fish.html). Grading 9 Weekly homework assignments: 70%. 10 points (out of 100) will be deducted for each day that an assignment is submitted late. Mid-term laboratory
assignment: 30% Plagiarism, cheating, and other misconduct
are serious violations of your contract as a student. We expect that you
