Streams and Rivers of the Olympic Peninsula
Queets & SF Hoh Rivers
8-10 May 2008
11 am Friday--7 pm Sunday

Extended weekend field trip to explore rivers under a variety of management regimes (DNR trust lands, Olympic National Forest, Olympic National Park). We will be camping 2 nights in primitive campgrounds. You will be responsible for your own food and water. We will bring two carboys of water for general use, but you should have enough drinking water for 3 full days.

We will work together to make sure everyone has enough gear to go around. However, if you can contribute camping and cooking gear it will be very helpful.

See list above for appropriate clothes and footwear.

Expect rain (hey, it's the rainforest!) & cool temperatures. Bring a camera- we will see lots of wildlife and incredible scenery.

Transportation is provided, but feel free to drive your own vehicle.
