Week 7:
Overview
This week we finish up Unit II. We use JavaScript to grab data from fields on a Web form and use the Document Object Model. We use JavaScript to change style properties dynamically. We're starting to look at user interactivity and responsiveness to users.
Objectives
The objectives for this week are:
- Access text fields, radio buttons, and check boxes
- Give a form field the focus
- Understand the Document Object Model
- Use the DOM to access user input and use it in a program
- Use the DOM to create text elements and print them to the screen
- Open a window of a particular size
- Print content to a new window
- Change the background-color of the page with JavaScript
