CFR 520 Requirements

CFR 520 is identical in every way to ESRM 250 , with two exception.

1. If you make a poster for the first time, read The Visual Display Of Quantitative Information , 2001. Edward R. Tufte

2. Prepare a poster that shows an outline of your project/research. (for details on the "how-to", check Map Layouts ).

3. You can create your poster by power point or the other software, but at least you have to create pictures, which are used for the poster, by ArcGIS.

The poster should have enough description about how to find your data set (show us the link), should have a combination of text boxes, images/logos and photo inserts. If you don't have your own topic or GIS dataset, use the Pack Forest GIS dataset to create a poster. Create a pdf file and submit that file.

Due Date: As posted. Submit using Catalyst (as 520_poster).

The posterwill not contribute to the grade for the course , but will be a pass/fail. The poster will need a passing score in order for you to pass the course. The poster should conform to a high standard of quality in terms of both content and style.
