For Monday, October 19.  Prepare for vocabulary quiz on TYH, Chapter 1 and #s 0-10.

For Tuesday, October 20.  Read grammar sections 2.1-2.4 in TYH, pages 31-35.

For Wednesday, October 21.  Listen to and “memorize” Conversation 2a in TYH, pages 29-30.

For Thursday, October 22. Read BHS, Unit 8 (pp. 82-89).

For Friday, October 23. [HW4a] This homework will be graded. 

Translate into Hindi the following phrases or sentences (and turn in):

1. Today Pratap is angry because the weather is very bad. 
2. These dictionaries are very fat and expensive. 
3. That old book is also expensive, but [it's] very good.
4. Kamala is happy right now because the teacher is not very strict.

For Thursday, October 29. Read carefully TYH, grammar sections 3.3 and 3.4.  [HW5a] Do in writing exercises 3a.2 and 3b.1.

For Friday, October 30.  “Memorize” Conversation 3a (Pratap's mother phones from London) in TYH, pp. 39-40.

For Monday, November 2.  Prepare for quiz on vocabulary in TYH, Chapter 3 and #s 20-30.  Listen to and “memorize” Conversation 3b.
