112 W COURSE DESCRIPTION:
An introduction to the European Middle Ages and Renaissance; no
prior historical knowledge is presumed. HIST112 is part of a three
quarter survey with Ancient History (HST111) and Modern European
History (HST113). Course meets College and University graduation
requirements for 5 credits of "W" (Writing) credit and IS
distribution.
Particular attention will be paid to written assignments; assistance
with papers is available from TAs & Writing Tutors in History
Writing
Lab (Smith 210A).
