Course requirements:

25% Participation/preparation. You are expected to attend lectures,
      to come to section prepared to discuss lectures and assigned cantos
      (i.e. read the cantos, consider the questions posed in the study guide, raise
      your own), to complete short written exercises & assignments for section.

25% 3-4 page paper due Tuesday 4/26
             topics are included in course reader

25% take home essay exam due Tuesday May 17

25% Final project or paper:
       due last day of class Thursday June 3 or during finals week
       options will be discussed in class
