Flash Quiz #1 (ungraded)
This is a "real" quiz, and it will be scored to give you feedback, but it won't count toward your grade because I want to give you a chance to see what these quizzes will be like. They'll always follow the theme of asking you to use Flash code and skills you've learned from the lab activities, and applying them to a new situation.
You have an hour to complete this exam (i.e. it is due by 4:30)
The instructions and link to the Illustrator file are below. The biggest danger is making this a harder problem than it is. It only uses coding strategies that you've already used in the medals labs.
This is what your final product should look and act like (move your mouse over any section or its associated arrow or label).:
The Illustrator file
Here is the Illustrator file to start with.
Don't save to the desktop if...
Many of you have been having trouble testing your Flash files in Flash. This seems to happen under these circumstances:
1. You're logged in as yourself (rather than as "guest")
AND
2. You're saving your file to the desktop
Let me know if you're still having trouble under some other circumstances.
Writing code comments
Once you've imported the file and created a layer for your code, write comments describing what you want to do (I'll will give you some credit for know what to do even if you can't figure out how to do it).
Using resources
How I will grade - the things I will look for
