Assistive Technology and Inclusive Design

INSC 546 - Spring 2010

INSC 546 is PhD-level project-based course that examines interactive technologies for users with alternative skills or in alternative contexts. In this class, we will learn how to address the needs of users with physical or cognitive limitations, children, elders, users in developing nations, and mobile users. The following topics will be covered within the class:

  • Universal design
  • Inclusive design
  • Assistive technologies
