Begin to Brainstorm Possible Capstone Projects Begin to think about what sort of capstone orientation you might wish to pursue. Brainstorm some possible projects – perhaps 5 –6 different sorts of projects or questions here. Think about who you might wish to work with and begin some informal discussions. Identify a client that will collaborate with you. |

INFO 470 and INFO 360 Take INFO 470, if you have not already done so. The prerequisite classes for Capstone are INFO 360, INFO 380, and INFO 470. In the context of these courses, solidify the capstone orientation you would like to pursue. (Please note: the current UW Course Description lists different prerequisites to reflect the older program requirements that the graduating class of 2009 needed. This will be updated in the summer). If you have not yet taken INFO 380, a section of the class will be offered in Winter 2010. You will be unable to take INFO 380 and Capstone concurrently, without the approval of the capstone instructor and the program chair.
