- 4/18/05 Because of space limitations on the web site, I'm going to periodically remove some of the earlier posted papers/assignments.
- 4/4/05 See "The Rise and Fall of the Fifth Force", by Allan Franklin for an interesting overview.
- 4/3/05 You can now grab the handout's on-line (up to April 11 thus far). Go to the Discussion Topics and Reading Preparation page and click on the appropriate handout. Grabbing a handout requires a valid UW NetID.
- 4/1/05 Excused Absence Policy - Based on several questions, I have implemented the following clarification to the excused absence policy. For anyone that must miss a class, for a physics related reasons (travel to a conference, travel to work on an experiment, ... ), please notify me in advance by email to let me know you'll be away. In addition please turn in written answers to the Points to Ponder for the particular class that you will miss. (This doesn't need to be detailed, ~ 1 page should be fine.)
