Final Project Description

The final project is a group undertaking and is designed to let your group create a network-based information resource or application. Each group, of 3-4 students, is to implement an Internet accessible World-Wide-Web service with information available on a topic of benefit to our school, the campus in general, a particular user-group, or an organization. It should be a sizable working system.

Each group must submit a written proposal describing what the goal of your project is, what information you need to obtain to do it, how the work will be divided in your group, as well as the clients you will be working with on the project. Please inform your client that I will request a written evaluation of your work from him or her. The proposal must be submitted by October 26, 2000.

After the project is completed each group member will submit a short summary of the group dynamics . Each will evaluate the contribution of other members as well as his/her own contribution. If you have a problem with this evaluation method, please let me know as soon as possible.

Each group will present its final project in class.
