Creating a Simple Searchable Directory

• An Example Search Interface Form

• HTML file for Interface Form. If you want to download and use this file, save it as a html file. This file invokes [name.cgi] file.

• The .cgi File to Process the above Search Request. If you want to download and use this file, save it as a cgi file. This cgi file uses [name.dat] file to look for the strings requested.

• The Database File - [name.dat]. This file contains actual data. Remember to put one complete record in one line because that is the way grep command works.
