program

Washington Rome Center.

Housing: Apartments

other students in the program.
Cost: The
fee for the program is $4430. There is an additional IPE fee of $250. The program fee includes courses
and credit, housing in a shared apartment in Rome, a bus pass,
classroom,
computer lab and library use, and travel costs for program excursions.The
program fee does not include
airfare ($900 -$1500 round trip), most meals
($20-30 day), a mandatory cell phone, and personal spending money.

to confirm your eligibility.

Applying for the Program: Important Instructions and Information about the application process can be found here. The application deadline is February 16, 2011. Note that this deadline is earlier than for most other Exploration Seminars. Applicants need to submit a statement that explains their interest in a study abroad program in Rome and their interest in the topics covered in the seminars. Applicants also need to have two people complete a recommendation using the form provided by IPE. Some applicants may be asked to come in for interviews.

The Fine Print: Students admitted to the program who elect to join will be required to
submit a payment
contract and pay a non-refundable $350 deposit.
The balance of the Program Fee will be charged to the student's
account, due in October
2011. The Program Fee is not
refundable if students withdraw from the program after set
deadlines. More

fees,
deposits,
and deadlines for
refunds will be made available to students who are accepted into the
program.
Program fees are subject
to change if costs increase due to severe inflation or unexpected
changes in
currency exchange rates.
