Hoh Rainforest. The next day we rounded the corner of the peninsula to Salt Creek, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Salt Creek. Salt Creek. The habitat type in the middle intertidal at Salt Creek--tons of Katherina, Mytilus, Anthopleura, etc. Typical lower intertidal.

Tons of urchins, including some large red urchins. Tons of purple urchins. Tons of stars, too! A Pycnopodia that moved quite a bit while we were there. Tons of algal diversity as well, including Codium. Cool crab!
