Commonly called the Sea Lemon

 

Bright yellow to orange coloration.  Body covered with round tubercles and scattered brown-black spots

 

Pointed rhinosphores and a frilly white gill rosette

 

Size:  10—26 cm

 

Diet:  Several types of encrusting sponges

 

Habitat:  Low intertidal to 230 m deep water

 

Range:  Alaska to California
