Commonly referred to as the Red Sponge Nudibranch or the Crimson Doris

 

Cryptic Coloration:  Matches red sponge substrate

 

Size:  Up to 3 cm.  Intertidal specimens can be smaller.

 

Habitat:  Intertidal to subtidal.  Found on red sponges (primary diet) that grow on rocky shores

 

Range:  Alaska to Mexico
