Caridean sp.

This was found on the floating docks near Point Defiance. It was found with some brown filamentous algae that was attached to the side of the dock. This shrimp was approximately 1.5 inches long and ¼ inch wide. A distinct characteristic of this shrimp was that it has what looks like a broken back.
