Species Lists

The species observations of the class were compiled into a database in Microsoft Access. A species list is given for each site on its individual site page. Below are links summary tables of all of the species found. Please note that these data have not been verified and should be used with caution.

Species Summary Table
On this table, each species is listed (alphabetically by phylum). Each site has a column with the number of "observations" (defined as the number of student reports of that species) at that site. An observation is a presence/absence measure, not an abudance measure. Note that the effort was not quantified and was not equal among the sites (for example, we visited Fox Island twice and we visited False Bay briefly).

The Top Thirty
This is a list of the top thirty most-observed species in 2007 and 2008.
