Weather at Friday Harbor

Friday Harbor Sites:

• Argyle Lagoon

Friday Harbor is the main port on San Juan Island in northwest Washington. It is a very diverse community that contains several types of intertidal areas and more than a few quality fish and chip dealers.

Very near to Friday Harbor is the UW labs. This was to be our home base for the duration of the trip. We visited three very different sites while in Friday Harbor. Links for those can be found to the left.

We also took a cruise of the UW boat, the R/V Centennial. It was an exciting trip in the waters surrounding the island, but since it was not intertidal, it is not covered here.
